“This was an overnight stay while working locally and this place was chosen for its location and the fact that it’s a pub as well. The room was nice but could do with some TLC but I was very comfortable. The bar area was a little cold but I soon warmed up with the lovely food that was on offer and the staff were really friendly and helpful which is why I would recommend this place to others thinking of staying here.”

“The room I stayed in was clean. The decor was great! Enjoyed my visit, although it was only night. One minor thing. When I sat at a table reserved for me, there was no menu on table, so I borrowed one from a nearby table. This does not take the excellent service provided at the Woodborough Inn.”

“An older property, could benefit from netting to add privacy for rooms. Shame the pool couldn’t be accessed from the hotel without walking outside as this prevents walking in your dressing down. Sadly our check in experience felt somewhat underwhelming compared to the member of staff in front of us who was offered complimentary upgrade and didn’t have to ask for their cookies. Was advised two restaurants were open but didn’t have children’s menu for the one at the spa. Went to eat there and then……

“I don't want to be negative about this hotel as I will stay here again, but just some minor things, firstly the breakfast room opened late so I didn't have time to eat, but no big deal, some say I could afford to miss the odd breakfast. The other is the sound proofing, again, no big issue, but the older couple arguing in the room above and stomping around the room was a bit of a distraction, but the did quiet down quite early (this is not a slight on the hotel, just a comment). The tv remote……
