The location is fantastic, surrounded by old homes, some from the 1700s, in the historic district and just a couple blocks off a square. I greatly enjoyed my stay here and walking around the neighborhood. ”

Beautiful yard with iron gate to sit outside safely at night , complimentary wine and water, family owners very helpful with pointing things out on maps for us, I highly recommend this property. Loved the Henry Suite.,”

“Chemise was very welcoming and informative regarding Savannah and the areas we should visit. The property was charming. We stayed in the Ivy room and the shower was incredible and the bed comfortable. The only thing I would suggest is full length curtains that make up for the gaps the shades/blinds leave. Otherwise a very beautiful property. Thank you. ”

“The Gray Owl is a charming B&B slightly off the beaten path but convenient to everything on the island. It is a very quiet retreat with a pretty pond with fountain. The breakfasts were great and Betty was an excelllent host.”

You can walk to the Cumberland Island ferry and to restaurants. Owner will facilitate a purchase of lunch to take on the ferry. The house is done in a victorian style. Nice front porch for relaxing. ”

“I greatly enjoyed my time here and wish I’d had more time to enjoy the inn itself. There are two upstairs “porches”, one with a hammock and the other with rockers. The breakfast is scrumptious and thoughtfully prepared. The inn keeper is friendly, well versed in local and world history, very helpful and responsive to guest requests and needs. The location is great- a couple minutes walk and you’re on a gorgeous stretch of beach looking at the Atlantic. The inn keeper even had coffee ready for me……
