“We loved our stay at Calathea Lodge. They helped us book awesome tours with excellent guides at prices that saved us a bit of money and a lot of time! We also really liked the location. The lodge had a deck with a great overlook and was walking distance to downtown. We took that walk and really enjoyed a great afternoon right after arriving. “We loved our stay here!! The staff is super friendly and helpful if you need tours or any other assistance! the room is super comfortable with AC. Breakfast was included and delicious along with tea and coffee. We were able to walk everywhere in town and the view in lovely to see everyday! Highly recommend staying here! ”

“Honestly, this hotel should be rated much higher. It felt luxe and private. Employees remembered us by name, always friendly, warm, and attentive. The pool was exceptional- heated to a perfect temp and so big that it always felt as if we had the whole pool to ourselves. ”

The room has an exterior entrance for privacy, was large and had a mini fridge, which is appreciated. Coffee is only available in the main communal area, which is a bit inconvenient but at least it’s available. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious!”
