“Beautiful view of the ocean from the patio outside. Beach is literally less than a minute away. Staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful with getting the stay here setup. Definitely a gem here on the beach. ”

“This is the cleanest hotel I have been to in as long as I can remember. My room was spotless. Only two MINOR negatives were that there was no toilet paper in my bathroom, but there is no toilet paper holder either so I can see how that can be forgotten. The television guide button doesn't work so I have no idea what channels are available without scrolling through each one.”

“This rating would have been 5 stars across the board however the hotel is older and some minor updates need to be made. However, it was very clean, the staff were helpful and kind. The location was in a safe place and convenient to the highway and stores. Would absolutely stay here again if in the area. ”

“Would stay again. ADA room was very wide and comfortable. Compact kitchenette is good for an overnight or weekend stay. We really appreciated wider chairs at the dinette table which is accommodating in an ADA room and often overlooked. Beds were above average comfort. Plenty of space in the room. Limited interaction with the staff during our stay so no comment positive or negative about those exchanges. Subterranean parking level onsite not meant for bigger trucks. Came for Jeep Beach week and……

“I really enjoyed staying at The Salty Mermaid. It is an absolutely beautiful location! It is a small hotel and doesn't seem fancy from the exterior, but it was clean and nice inside! It was probably one of the best locations you can get, as you walk right out on the beach, you have chairs and umbrellas provided, and you can walk to the shops and restaurants! I will definitely be going back! ”

“The staff were very nice especially Joanna at the Front Desk and accomodating. The rooms were clean but a lil musty scent from the carpet and my bed was not changed for the duration of my stay which was 9 days. I am not sure if I had to request it, but I would stay again. ”
