“We had such a lovely stay at the Bluebird Motel. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, the rooms were spacious, spotless, and beautifully kept, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. It’s rare to find a place that feels this inviting—we truly appreciated the care that went into making our stay so enjoyable.”

“Property is situated directly on the Machias River. It is a beautiful setting with outdoor seating directly out the sliding doors of your room. Direct room access from your car is a plus.”

“We've stayed in many rentals, and this was by far our favorite! It really is an amazing property with an amazing view, as advertised! The house is very comfortable, and very well equipped. The (5) of us all said that our stay here was truly a highlight of the summer. We had to force ourselves to leave the house to explore the area- didn't want to leave the deck! And our dogs loved playing on the quiet beach. All in all quite heavenly!”

It’s truly a hidden gem and thats great for anyone who already knows about the charm that Lubec has. The home itself was extremely clean. The kayaks were easy to use, and you can’t beat the view of the sunrise every morning out the windows. Especially if you sleep upstairs in the loft like we did. I’m telling you straight up, there isn’t a better……
