“This was a great location for our young family! Lunch and nap time was easy as the short walk to and from the beach was so short. Our area of the beach was less crowded as well.”

“Located on the southern side of Nags Head and right across from the beach with a shared boardwalk with another property they rent. Super easy to cross the road and be on the beach quickly. Also right across the street is the multi use path so perfect if you wanted to bring bikes or go for a walk. We did bike a few times down to the piers that were nearby. Was a very quiet area with the heart of nags head and kill devil hills close by as well. Many restaurants, shopping etc. The cottage itself……

“What an amazing place to stay! The house is located right on the beach and part of a hotel property. They were still cleaning up from the hurricane storm but we could hardly tell. They went the extra mile to make sure we were taken care of ”

“I have only wonderful things to say about this property and the host! While there, towards the end of our stay I even consciously gave thought to what notes I might provide and not one came to mind. The house is in a beautiful forest location. We saw a fox, deer and fawn and so many beautiful birds. The woodpeckers would make their appearances every morning. The description of the property was spot on. We enjoyed each and every amenity! Our favorite was the patio gazebo where we spent time……

“The location was great if you are looking for a quiet, family beach experience. The home had enough space for everyone to hang out without feeling crowded. The owner's do provide a wagon, however, going up and over the dunes was no easy task. The wagon is perfect for packed and/or solid surfaces but not the loose sand. A couple of downsides for us: 1. We thought we would have had more of a view by the description. 2. The kitchen does lack utensils and storage containers, especially if……

“It was very clean, and accessible to everything. It was a great middle point for day trips to see the whole island. ”

“The cottage was clean and very nice for two people. Enough room to relax and stay a while. However, the weather was perfect for open windows and such. Only one front window and the bathroom window has a screen. The front door was lacking a screen door even though it's advertised in the listing and even describes the ocean air coming in through the front door as the screen shuts behind you. “This was the most charming, well decorated and clean rental. It was just my husband and I but it would have fit a few more if necessary! Everything is brand new and it even had an outdoor shower/bathroom. The owners checked in with us and responded to our emails immediately! We will be definitely be staying here again!”

“Great property- had everything we needed. Close to downtown Duck, yet far enough away where we weren’t in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Easy access to Corolla and points South. Located on a private street with access to the beach, a quick 5 minute walk. The pool was a great escape when we needed a break from the hot sand. The house was clean and had all the amenities we could need!”

“We originally planned for this to be a family vacation with nieces, nephews, grandparents, pets etc. It ended up just being my mother and I and our two dogs. And it was awesome! The house is in a great location. Walking distance to the ocean. The area the house is in as well as the beach were incredibly clean. We didn't see any trash anywhere. The house itself was perfect. Plenty of room for us and our doggos with a nice big deck on the back for everyone to relax and listen to the waves.The……
