“Check-in was extremely easy and the host messaged us that our unit was left unlocked for us, just before we arrived. He let us check in about 30 minutes early upon our arrival, which I appreciated so much being that we had a 5 week old newborn with us. The cottage was as described and very clean. The location was nice because it was so close to the beach. It’s located between two beach accesses but the beach access to the left has a warning sign for an increase in waterborne illness within 200……

“We stayed for a week mid-May, family of 5. Property was as described and pictured. Classic beach/lake house vibe. Plenty of kitchen utensils and appliances. New towels. Great pool with plenty of loungers. There is a very short walk over thru the dunes to the beach, right behind the house, the beach is very quiet and clean, lots of wildlife, crabs, birds....We visited some other beaches further north and this one was much cleaner and much less crowded. Maybe one group of people every 300-400……

“The location and comfort of this home is everything OBX. The spaces are comfortable, the amentities sufficient, the response form the owner was quick. The pool is in a great location for keeping sand out of it! The hot tub overlooks the dune for early morning sun rise soaks. We had a wonderful time and experience in this property.”

“We enjoyed our long weekend away at Stella Maris. There was plenty of room for a party of 7 adults. Only suggestion would be very minor upkeep in cleanliness (dusty vents, broom in the kitchen but no dust pan, scraps of old food in the utensils drawer). Otherwise the home was cozy, centrally located, and had gorgeous oceanfront views. Thank you for opening your home to us! ”
