“We stayed in the long walk room, which had a comfy bed, the room was clean with quaint furniture. Caroline was very hospitable and allowed us to use the room ahead of time. Easy onsite parking, with many options to get to Windsor Castle, walking, by bus or by taxi. There is a convenience store and the Prince of Albert Pub across the road, which served up good pub grub. The full English breakfast was exceptional and mouthwatering. Caroline answered any questions we had and would go out of her way……

“Having stayed in Eton several times, always wanted to stay at Gilbey’s. Stayed in studio suite and it was fabulous. A safe area and close to Windsor Castle, shopping , many pubs and restaurants. Staff was lovely. Will definitely stay there again. ”

“This property was spacious, tastefully decorated, and clean. We loved our stay. It is conveniently located near shopping, restaurants, Windsor Castle, and the train station. We were able to leave our bags in a locked closet until our room was ready. I felt very safe here. The girl on call when you check in was absolutely delightful. So sweet and friendly. One of my favorite people I met during my travels in the UK. I wish I'd gotten her name. She is a true gem. I will definitely stay here again.”
