“Our stay at Quinta da Ermida was overall fantastic. There were 5 of us staying in the 3-bedroom apartment, which was its own house with separate entry and private bathroom for each room. The view was gorgeous of the river and the train, and the property was beautiful to venture and take in the amazing views. We had some issues communicating with the staff as their English was quite limited, but they were friendly and earnest to try and resolve them. Continental breakfast is included but we……

“Fantastisch uitzicht en door familie gerund! Accomodatie was voor ons slecht vindbaar. Een wegbeschrijving zou fijn zijn, steile weg naar boven, wij kwamen van de verkeerde kant aanrijden en dan is het een avontuur om de Quinta te bereiken. We hadden ons meer voorgesteld van de sfeer en gezelligheid, helaas waren we de enige gasten en had Carlos geen hart meer voor zijn bedrijf. Ze gaan ook stoppen met deze quinta. En op zondag wordt er niet gekookt, wij aten eenvoudig op zaterdagavond en prijs……

“The hotel is clean, nice and comfortable. We arrived the hotel around 2PM in rainny Thursday. The reception inform the room are not ready. They insist we can check in after 4PM. So we need to take around with umbrella. But we found there are so many customers at that day. ”

“Great view from the room and the cafeteria/restaurant. The mountain and the river behind are spectacular. The room itself is quite nice and big as well. However, the only public transportation to get to the hotel is by bus. Even it is only three minutes walk to downtown, still strongly recommend to rent a car if you would like to explore more in the neighborhood. The hotel has its own underground parking lot. So it is not a problem for parking.”
