“Our stay at the Best Western Plus in Wilmington, NC was truly delightful. The location is excellent, especially for those traveling with pets—there's a convenient little pet park right next to the hotel, which was a thoughtful touch. Every room offers a gorgeous view of the Cape Fear River and the iconic USS North Carolina battleship, making mornings feel especially peaceful. “We loved the location and the setup of the courtyard. The courtyard made you unaware you were in a busy area of town. The staff were great to us and our dog.”

“I have used Hotel Ballast exclusively when traveling to Wilmington, NC. I have always had the use of a walk in shower. However, this trip was different. I was placed in room 637 which had a bathtub with the use of a shower. I was not given the option of a room with a walk in shower. Based on ones age and to prevent accidents, rooms should be age appropriate based on guest needs. The room also had an extra door. I could see other guest or employees walking by that door. ”

“Wilmington is one of my favorite places to visit. This time was no disappointment. This was a birthday getaway for me and my husband. The houseboat was very clean and accommodating. Just the relaxation that I needed. Kelly was avaliable when we needed her with no hesitation. Thank you Kelly and we will be coming back.”

“It's the perfect lil place for a couple that wants to visit the historic district of downtown Wilmington. It's very comfy and cozy. Best part was the spiral staircase you can take to get to the roof. ”
