“Our stay at the Best Western Plus in Wilmington, NC was truly delightful. The location is excellent, especially for those traveling with pets—there's a convenient little pet park right next to the hotel, which was a thoughtful touch. Every room offers a gorgeous view of the Cape Fear River and the iconic USS North Carolina battleship, making mornings feel especially peaceful. “I have used Hotel Ballast exclusively when traveling to Wilmington, NC. I have always had the use of a walk in shower. However, this trip was different. I was placed in room 637 which had a bathtub with the use of a shower. I was not given the option of a room with a walk in shower. Based on ones age and to prevent accidents, rooms should be age appropriate based on guest needs. The room also had an extra door. I could see other guest or employees walking by that door. ”
