“We had a 3 night stay at The Stones Hotel Salisbury. The Receptionist Angelina (I think) weekend 13 - 15 July - was excellent She had a sincere smile. She was professional and very helpful. It was extremely hot and she arranged for a fan to be provided. A very pleasany lady. The Executive Double room is roomy with a fabulous large bed with very comfortable quality cotton bedding. The bathroom is a nice size with a large walk in shower cubicle. The overhead rain shower is powerful and……

“Fabulous stay - loved it! Breakfast hamper was absolutely wonderful, though we couldn’t eat it all. Plenty of parking. Key code entry gives more flexibility as to arrival times, which suited us as we were spending the day and having dinner with friends so didn’t arrive till late. Brilliant one night break, will return without a doubt, and have already recommended to friends.”

“This is a pub with a difference, a traditional old New Forest Inn with interesting decor. Also charming New Forest ponies visit daily and stand and watch while you have a beer. All the staff are friendly and happy and provide great service, nothing seemed too much trouble. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities and toiletries. “Really lovely stay at the hotel. Family of 5, with 3 children 5 and under and we felt very welcome. Perfect for a visit to Peppa Pig only 10 mins away. The staff were great. Really welcoming and no issue with the noise that children bring. Dinner was lovely. Although pub grub it was really tasty. Family room was very big. Although a little tired looking was absolutely fine for our stay. Would definitly recommend and would stay again. Only downside. The outside area would really benefit……

“Absolutely loved this place. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and wanted. The position of High Corner is fantastic and that’s not really doing it justice! The staff, all of them, were polite, welcoming, helpful and a credit to the pub.
