“The reception staff were wonderful - nothing was too much trouble. I left my phone charger at home and they lent me one for the weekend. The room was a single and clean, although the decor was dated (the description did say it was a Victorian building). “The view is absolutely beautiful. The overall hygiene was ok, with a small bit of stain on the sheet remaining. However, there was one used instant coffee packaging left, probably due to carelessness of cleaning staff. The worst issue was that the shower was completely not working but the hotel gave us this room knowing that there was a electrical failure for the shower. Although the staff was really polite when we raised this issue in the morning, it does not erase the disappointment at night.……

“Easy to self-check in, perfect location, and lovely, clean rooms. The views are wonderful no matter where you're situated in the hotel. I've stayed here many times and will be back for many more. My only minor complaint is that it's a shame the car park isn't subsidised. Other than that, I can't fault this place. ”
