“This is a great space and a perfect location. I cant really imagine finding anything better for the price and it was exactly what we needed. The house is old, and I believe that is part of what contributes to the smell, but there's also some kind of animal smell. I honestly wonder if it isn't bats? The primary smell seemed to be coming from the entry area and when we closed of the door at the top of the stairs it made it much better. Overall though, this is a great place. We have animals at home……

“The Loft provided everything we needed for our stay and more! Loved the atmosphere, the cozy fireplace, and the hot tub to end our day. So many cool restaurants and shops within walking distance, and Charlotte’s Coffee Shop right downstairs was a definite bonus! Communication with Jenn was easy and all necessary information was relayed timely. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Downtown Dubuque area! ”

Previous reviews about cleanliness gave me pause when reserving this location, but my experience was that it is an older cabin and cleanliness was as you'd expect for the age of the home. “Building is very old which adds to the charm. Had plenty of space and Jordan was amazing to work with! Food downstairs is yummy also! Does have a lot of stairs if that is an issue for you. ”
