“Excellent stay. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and the staffs at the reception were very professional, polite and resolved all our concerns and queries. “It's a beautiful building. They only have 2 rooms I think. So, was only me. I had my own bathroom. It's bigger then mine at home. The food is divine!!!! And it's like a 5 min walk from Clitheroe Castle!”

“We arrived early and asked if we could possibly check in and fortunately we could. Nothing was too much trouble and all of the staff were very helpful. Our family joined us for breakfast the following morning and again all was good. I would definitely recommend a visit.”

“If you would like to experience living in a 400 year old cottage, with many original features, surrounded by so much beauty and peacefulness, then this is the place for you! I cannot recommend it enough. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by hens and cats. We were then shown to our ‘living area’, bathroom and upstairs - a double bed and bunk beds. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful. There were so many extras included - books, binoculars, tea/coffee/hot chocolate/fresh……

“Stayed here with a friend in preparation for Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge. Check in very easy. Warm welcome. Very hospitable staff. We had to leave the hotel early next morning before kitchen opened but staff left us breakfast (cereals, yogurt etc) out for us which was really appreciated. Also made us sandwiches to take with us. Pub/bar and food was really good. Cosy. ”
