“I have stayed at a lot of beach hotels but this was my first VRBO. I was pleasantly surprised. It was well kept and just as described on the site. Beds were not that comfortable but the linens were clean and I did not go to the beach to sleep. Towels were actually adult sized and not for tiny people. The fridge was so clean it looked new with filtered ice/water in the door so no need to buy water. Ocean view from the master bedroom and the beach access was right off the parking lot. Its not near……

“Surf Sounds was THE PERFECT house for our stay in Emerald Isle!! My two teenagers appreciated the 2nd bedroom having two full beds, and we all slept well on the mattresses! The house was very clean, the linens were in good shape (and smelled nice!), and the kitchen was well stocked. The house was a perfect location to get to the beach - as close to oceanfront as you can get without paying oceanfront prices! The beach access was mere steps from the house, and Emerald Isle town was a short drive……
