“This is basically a 'pub with rooms'. But the rooms are exceptionally nice. Lovely big bed without the join down the middle (you know what I mean - two singles bolted together...), comfy chairs and a lovely soft carpet (I said it was the little things). But while I'm on the subject, proper mugs, proper glasses (not plastic cups), and decent biscuits (not the standard ones that all hotels seem to have). Food in the restaurant? Pub grub - but very well cooked. Good wine list too. All in all,……

“Was a nice place, staff were lovely! Value for money. Beds not the comfiest. And there was no iron, which was a shame as I really needed one. ”

“Staff were very polite and friendly. Car park was full (had the last place) and the bar was very noisy - a lot of people and it was Friday. The meal was good “pub grub” and the local ale was wonderful - Wye Valley brewery.”

“Lovely quiet arra to rest durung business trips, but paying for additional room space wasnt worth it as i had trouble getting in and out the shower due to the door being tight to the toilet. The restaurant also seems to have gone down hill and i was served almost burnt and greasy chips with my gluten free meal”

“This lovely hotel is perfectly located; it is a short drive from Blists Hill Victorian Town and the Ironbridge attractions. Highly recommended. Telford town centre with plenty of nice restaurants and great shopping is just a few minutes away. The air museum at RAF Cosford is only ten miles away. Remember to bring your swimwear for the hotel pool! Highly recommended. 😊”

“Disabled parking is limited and too far from reception. Reception was efficient and friendly. Decent size room was adequately furnished but bed was too firm for my wife's and my arthritic joints! The clean shower room was a little small but had a badly broken floor tile near the wash basin. Breakfast had great choice and was excellent as was the service.”
