“Excellent location and short walk to shops and dining. Staff is accommodating and helpful. Room was vlesn and spacious, and beds were comfortable. I’ve stayed here several times and would recommend it.”

“The staff at The Hotel Salem are so friendly and helpful. If you want to be right in the middle of Essex Street, this is the spot. The room was very comfortable and clean. Plus you have two great eating spots right on property, The Counter and The Roof. Nothing beats the views from the roof and the food and drinks are delicious. Only drawback is that parking is a bit of a walk because you are staying is a historic part of town. My favorite place to stay in Salem.”

“Beautiful castle building, free coffee at the reception, staff are very friendly and helpful. They even offered me a ride to the train station when the next train was coming within half an hour. Overall it’s a very pleasant stay. ”
