“This inn was right by the road between Oxford and Chippenham, and has a very cool history. It has a beautiful garden in the back that connects to a path connecting to 2 small towns. There are also other paths nearby that you can go to explore. The food here was really good and the room was very spacious compared to other places we've been! The only caveat is that we can hear the cars passing by faintly while sleeping. It's not a big deal at all for us but just a note for those who are very……

The bathroom was clean and modern, with good-quality fixtures, though some of the furniture and smaller fittings (like the towel rail and toilet roll holder) could use a bit of tightening or TLC. “Very accommodating staffs, gave us a very warm welcome. Our room was at the end in the second floor, was nice and quiet. Room nicely heated, get some insects in the room if windows are opened(even in winter), but not a big problem at all. Overall a very lovely hotel with nice dinner and breakfast. Beautiful town to visit! ”

“We were very surprised to find a small and beautiful town named Lechlade nearby. And it is 45 hours' drive to Cotswold which was quite acceptable. However the room was not tidy enough but still in the acceptable range.”

“Our room was on the first floor, above the pub. You can probably imagine how busy it can get at night. We can clearly hear everything from downstairs which make us cannot sleep. The whole building is old ”

“We had a beautiful room separate from the Inn (Witney) which made it feel like a little cottage on its own. The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable and the shower clean. We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel and both were great. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and happy to help on all occasions. We would definitely stay here again. ”
