“Very cool historic building boutique hotel, nicely renovated with comfortable rooms and a gorgeous throw-back lobby with a bar, coffee bar and comfortable seating. Hosts one of Kansas City’s excellent fine dining restaurants, The Town Company. Parking is not optimal with the best option being valet service, and downtown KC street and plaza construction poses navigation challenges. Still a great downtown hotel option and an easy walk to convention facilities or conferences at e.g., the Marriott. ”

“You cannot beat 3 free drinks every night at cocktail hour, free breakfast every day, popcorn, soda machine, etc. Also, somehow I got put in a suite with an entire living room with an additional TV. Lastly, the hotel manager was the brightest ray of sunshine I’ve ever seen at that position! I immediately looked to see if there was a Drury Inn in my hometown and if they did points. Ha. I’m their newest, biggest fan! ”

“Breakfast was really good. I can tell they are trying to update and do improvements. Bed was super comfy. Nice TV. Some things are pretty used and worn but still usable. The window had 1/2 inch gap so rain came in with the storm. Pretty quiet. Could smell people smoking weed and could smell someone cooking garlicky food. I did feel safe and it was pretty quiet place to stay. Lady at the desk early morning was super nice to my son and I. For the price it was a good place to stay.”

“Only stayed for a one quick night. The bed was comfortable and room was very clean. I was a GM for 15 years. So I didn't get to do my normal checks when I walk in. The night auditor was very friendly. It was a quick and easy check in.”

“This is my 3rd time staying at this location. My recent stay, May 18, 2025, got to stay in a remodel Hyatt Place. Like the remodel room, it made the room feel bigger with extra features. My only complaint is the backing on the couch is too short to lounge and the bed pillows are too thin. As a side sleeper, I had to stack several pillows on top of each other. ”
