“Nice boutique hotel directly across from the beach with easy beach access. The room was small but very clean and nicely appointed with a very comfortable bed and pillows. Only suggestion would be: knowing we were going to be 3 nights and there was no daily housekeeping, would have been nice to have enough towels for the entire stay. Fortunately we were able to catch the house keeper, who was extremely nice, and trade towels one day. We would stay here again!”

“The hotel is still under repair on the outside due to the hurricane ,so no pool or beach access , however there is beach access and washrooms in the adjacent parking lot . The staff are incredibly hospitable. They went above my expectations . I understand the not having a pool area , however they were working on it , and feel it will be completed soon. Rooms are a little dated , but spacious and clean . I definately would go back ”

“As long as you avoid their restaurant and horrible attempt at Starbucks, the Shores is a great place to stay. The only problem in the rooms was the way overly intense deodorizer used in the hallways. Beautiful ocean view abd patio.”

“The room’s amenities were too old. The Wi-Fi would go out. My charger cord melted and I had to throw it away. The elevator, room, and main entrance all had a stinky smell (not the paint). Anyway the prices is reasonable!”

“The place is cute and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms were spanking clean and freshly painted. I love that it had full appliances, sink, fridge and microwave, even plates, glasses and dish soap!Two TVs for a one bedroom unit which is nice. The only thing I would add is an extractor fan in the bathroom and a hanging armuoir (sp) since there is no closet. I would definitely come back!”

“Dated but it was a good stay overall. It’s basically Russian roulette on if you get an updated room or a really dingy room. The first day / night we were there was rough with the A/C being out but once that was fixed it was fine. Room stayed cool & the tile floors stayed dry. Staff was nice & we loved that all rooms looked at the ocean. The room our parents had was nicer on the 5th floor than ours on the 3rd floor. I think if condo owners put any effort into making updates they could restore the……
