“Great family trip! Riverside was a cute and comfortable little inn. The staff was great and we loved our room. We had a balcony which had a great view of the river. So peaceful. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I’m heartbroken for this community. So sad this little gem is gone. When they get up and running again we will definitely be back. One of my favorite towns in NC. ”

“The timber house is beautiful! Our favorite thing to do each morning and evening was to sit on the porch and watch the animals. The host, Debbi, was so kind. We truly enjoyed visiting the animals and learning all about them from Debbi. The general store was amazing as well with something for everyone. We will definitely be back for another visit! We miss all of the animals already!”
