“My girlfriend and I wanted to stay somewhere unusual and just explore the Dallas area, and this shipping-container-turned home was just the place! Views of the water and a lovely country setting, not far from Terrell, where we enjoyed looking at classic architecture, cool shops and got some great food. The shipping container doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside it is cozy and had everything we needed, including a kitchen stocked with water and some basic ingredients/tea/etc. The……

“Nice secluded spot in the country. The cabin is nice and true to theme. So many windows has a disadvantage - there is no covering for the front door or the back door, giving an unobstructed view of the bed. There is only one other cabin next to it on a dead-end road but if somewhere were to be wandering or parking they could easily see into the cabin at night. The hot tub didn't seem adequately chlorinated. Otherwise a nice and romantic spot. ”

“This is the perfect place to escape from the hustle and bustle of the metroplex. It is so amazingly quiet, except for the various sounds of nature, and the stars at night will take your breath away. The treehouse is beautifully crafted with wide, sturdy stairs, a spacious deck with multiple seating areas overlooking the larger pond, and a cozy enclosed room with a mattress that takes up most of the space plus a small padded loft area above. The windows all have screens on them and can be opened……

“Overall was a great stay. We were disappointed in coming in for Christmas and the house not decorated at all. There is even a light switch label Christmas lights but no lights or decorations what so ever. We used the couch bed one night and found a bottle. I reached down to pick up the bottle and two fake eye lashes stuck to my hand. The ceiling fan motor was also burned up and not working properly. Communication with the property managers were phenomenal and can not blame them at all for these.……

“We had a wonderful stay at the red cedar cabin! The cabin was clean and furnished with everything we needed for a family of 5 on vacation. The owners were SO kind and helpful to us. They fulfilled every request we had, gave us excellent recommendations for the area and were a delight to visit with as well. Our kids made good use of the pool and we all enjoyed watching and petting the horses and friendly dogs on the property. The wrap around porch was a favorite sitting spot to enjoy the peace……
