“1.五星級酒店，設備、環境和服務都還不錯，唯獨網路在房間不是太穩定是缺點。 2.白天大廳有一位阿姨非常非常客氣，所有其他的服務人員都非常客氣，很棒！！ 3.酒店旁邊的賭場是敗筆，服務人員態度非常差，而且對於整個景色是一個很難看的所在。”

“Excellent Hotel. Very friendly staff. Very easy access to downtown. Took us 10 minutes to walk to downtown cable car site. If you need any supermarket items, the mall is right downstairs and there is a nice supermarket there also. There is filtered water on every floor in a machine.The breakfast is also excellent. Great coffee machine, selection of fruits and cheeses and breads, as well as numerous hot entrees. Also, very big plus was we rented a car and used the free parking in the downstairs……

“Loved the location, cleanliness and vibe of the hotel with fantastic pools and all staff were great. Only downside was limited parking and I was only able to get a space at the hotel on 1 of 5 days, all other days I had to search for on street parking around 500m away from the hotel. Not ideal but aware there isn’t much can be done about it due to the central location.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our 7night stay at The Residence (30/8/25-5/9/25) and would definitely recommend. The apartment was modern, clean, very roomy, bedroom, 2 bathrooms, lounge area, dining area, a very well equipped kitchen and balcony. Staff were welcoming and friendly. The gardens and pool area were absolutely beautiful and well maintained. “Well located approx 1 mile stroll from Funchal centre . The area has plenty of bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The lido and sea access are 100 yards away. Hotel Pool was fab a great spot to unwind . The room was great, luckily we had a sea view too and we were given complimentary wine and fruit which was a very notable and welcomed bonus. Special mention to Vanessa at reception , what a great girl. Thanks Muthu Raga we loved our stay. ”
