“I have stayed at the Monte Carlo for over 20 years and they have always looked after my needs with great care and compassion. The hotel is set in a wonderful position in the town ( not the soulless hotel zone) overlooking the sea and mountains. It’s a period hotel, with tremendous charm with a pool on the roof at a certain price point. We visited in April 2024 and the staff were fabulous and the stay in Madeira a joy. “Die Unterkunft war klein, aber absolut ausreichend und sehr sauber. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet, auch wenn wir sie selbst nicht genutzt haben. Besonders überzeugt hat uns die zentrale Lage: Der Markt, die Altstadt und der Hafen sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befinden sich direkt in der Nähe. Auch die Parksituation war unkompliziert: Von 20:00 Uhr bis 08:00 Uhr kann man das Auto kostenlos auf der Straße (in den blau markierten Zonen) abstellen. Tagsüber……

“A experiência no Residencial do Vale foi, pela segunda vez, muito agradável. Todas as pessoas foram extremamente gentis e cordiais. O ambiente é muito acolhedor e as pessoas são muito simpáticas e solícitas!”

“房間沒有冷氣風扇，與hotel.com所描述不同，故房間較熱。另外，洗澡水外淺，令地板全濕。床墊開始舊，有下榻情況。景觀開揚，有小型厨房，空間較大，洗澡水夠熱，毛巾隔天更換但天天執房。酒店附近多食店亦有超市，巴士站，泳灘等。酒店有免費接駁車往市中心，但我沒有使用過。早餐有面包，生果，可可米，乳酪及芝士火腿蛋等，不是好味，亦不難吃。”
