“Overall a good experience. Our room was upgraded to a junior suite upon arrival which was a nice touch however a night there was a lot of noise until late as well as early in the morning. I’m not sure if this was due to location of the room (being on first floor and above the dining room/kitchen). It was difficult to sleep, especially if you’re a light sleeper.”

“We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful hotel. Everything available on site, but also very easy walking distance to Funchal centre. All of the staff were extremely helpful & friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The food was wonderful & breakfast was a delicious choice of fresh & cooked food. We would highly recommend this hotel & will definitely be back. It was my partners birthday while we were in Madeira & despite us not announcing this in any way, he was presented with a birthday……

“Kleineres Hotel inmitten eines schönen Parks mit unzähligen Pflanzen und Bäumen. Ausgezeichneter Service, freundliches Personal, kleiner SPA Bereich, 2 beheizte Aussenpool, ideal zum entspannen. Zimmer mit Blick auf den Park (müssten wieder mal renoviert werden)”

“The hotel is very close to the city, therefore you have some traffic noise. But the distance is of course also nice - just view steps and you enter the city center!”

“Tolles Hotel, sehr sauber und ordentlich. Nettes Personal und leckeres Essen. Toller Pool Bereich und auch der SPA Bereich ist recht schön nur leider nicht sehr groß, sodass man sich einen einstündigen Slot reservieren muss ”
