“The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Spotless clean and the grounds are lush and beautiful. The big down side is the main pool,the water is so very cold. Considering the size of this pool and how pretty it is, hardly anyone swam in it, due to the cold temperature. It's an terrific waste, just to sit around it and not be able to take a dip. Many people dipped a toe in, and then just walked away.”

“Quarto confortável e com uma vista ótima e um atendimento muito atencioso. Como o voo não permitia termos o pequeno almoço no hotel, disponibilizaram uns sacos com bastante comida, só falharam no facto de pedirem para escolher a opção pretendida e veio tudo igual, sem as nossas escolhas. Dificuldade em ter lugar para estacionar no hotel e nas redondezas. Pequeno almoço com alguma escolha, mas pouca fruta fresca. Hotel bem localizado e recomenda-se em custo vs benefício.”

“Very good hotel/apartment in the centre of Funchal. Within easy walking distance of all the shops, restaurants and major sites. On site parking is available. Plenty of room in each unit with a small kitchenette. Staff were excellent. Better than most! ”

“Overall a good experience. Our room was upgraded to a junior suite upon arrival which was a nice touch however a night there was a lot of noise until late as well as early in the morning. I’m not sure if this was due to location of the room (being on first floor and above the dining room/kitchen). It was difficult to sleep, especially if you’re a light sleeper.”

“The hotel is well maintained, which the room is clean and tidy. The breakfast buffet is quite good with plenty of choice. To get to the town center, it takes 10 mins by bus or 30 mins by walk. Overall a decent hotel, and reasonably priced.”
