“The location was great --- near I35 and downtown New Braunfels. The river area was really nice too. BUT, don't take a lot of luggage as the place is really small. No stove for cooking, only microwave. Refrigerator is small but not tiny -- we thought it was adequate.We ran into a couple of maintenance issues... Manager was very responsive and they were adequately resolved.Washer and dryer are accessed from outside the unit in an attached room.”

“From the very beginning, Lazy H Retreats was so easy to work with. They responded very quickly to inquiries. The house had everything we needed and was in a good location to everything we wanted to do. The stairway down to the river was amazing but there were ALOT of steps. Going down was easy, but coming up was a not as easy. Thankfully there are rest benches along the way back up!”

“This house is so fantastic! Inside is so lovely and has everything you need. Comfy beds - well stocked kitchen - great living area. Outdoor space is incredible with hammocks and plenty of chairs and outdoor dining. Such a peaceful and beautiful place to enjoy the outdoors. We also loved the screened in porch. “This was a great place and perfect for our family of 4. One main issue we had (really the only thing) is there are no curtains in the bedrooms. It would be sooo nice if they added curtains to block out the morning light. Also, could use some updated sheets, the ones on our bed were pilling pretty bad. Other that those 2 things, it was a great stay and we hope to be back! ”
