“Staff very friendly, courteous, pleasant and professional. Comfortable room and bed, shower very good. Excellent dining options, well prepared, well served, reasonably priced and very tasty. Quiet surroundings, easy access. Door to bathroom impossible to close: out of alignment. Toilet seat needs securing properly. No chain on bath plug making it awkward to remove plug and empty water out after use. These can easily be remedied. Overall impression: - Very impressed. Will definitely stay again.……

“I cannot recommend Marehay hall Farm and host Sharon highly enough. All of the the positive descriptions reviewing a B&B apply here. Whatever your expectations are they will surely be met and exceeded. If you are looking for a quiet oasis to relax and retreat from the hustle of daily life, this is it. The gardens are work in progress and offer the potential to make this a much saught after retreat location. Would we come back. Without a doubt! ”

“Lovely room ,nice friendly staff .bar prices not to bad .didnt stay for breakfast thought it was a little bit expensive .great to have free parking .room 204 we could hear water going through bathroom radiator which was a bit annoying, every thing else was fine.”

“Really cannot fault this hotel for the price we paid.Minor criticisms, winter quilts on beds were too much but it was a warm night,perhaps change to 4.5 tog for summer. Breakfast was great apart from bacon which was overcooked to the point of being dry,still ate it though so no points knocked off”
