“Lovely hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool was beautiful and (when I was there) very quiet. There's also a small sauna and steam room, and a tiny (but perfectly formed) gym, Excellent breakfast selection, and again staff very helpful, even with late arriving guests. The bar menu was limited, but delicious. Had one of the best curries I've ever had there. It's a very convenient distance from Gatwick by car, so well worth staying at for an overnight before a……

“Stayed just for one night before an early flight. I was very impressed. Nice, clean room, friendly staff, easy drive to Gatwick. Only gave a 3 star for staff as the barman was obviously very new and hadn’t yet been taught all he needed to know. I would recommend.”

“The soundproofing is poor, and I can hear the snoring from the neighboring room at night. I requested two bottled waters, but they did not provide them. The drainage in the bathroom is poor - after about 10 minutes of showering, the water starts draining out, as the shower area has a shallow floor and does not have enough time to properly drain. However, the hotel is indeed very close to the airport.”

“This hotel is just over 10 minutes drive to Gatwick Airport in the quiet countryside in a beautiful old manor house. Room 209 was spacious, quiet and luxurious but I was surprised to discover 8 stairs to negotiate after I got out of the lift. There was no bar fridge in the room so I had to ask bar staff for an ice bucket to chill the bottles of water provided. There was no power point in the bathroom either which seemed unusual. Apart from that, the stay was perfect. It’s hard to find anywhere……
