“Charming little home in a charming little town. Grand Marais is one of my favorite towns. If you are looking for a wild nightlife it’s not here. You come here to slow down, take in nature, and take in the shops and galleries. Our only complaint was to take a shower required a step over a tall jacuzzi tub. Other than that everything was great and comfortable. It was nice to be in the town that we love.”

“Excellent ski in ski out place to stay. You can click in on your patio and be on the slopes! The room was ok, couldn’t figure out how to use the fireplace but didn’t try super hard. The outdoor pool and hottub is located up by the ticket office and main chalet, it is quite a hike in swim trunks in the winter….but we drove up there and parked. Overall a nice place to stay! ”

“This was our third visit to this cabin and we enjoyed every moment! During the day we explored several of the great hikes in the area, and in the evening we relaxed in the clean and cozy cabin by the fire reading and playing games. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!”

“Awesome place but the TV sucked! Only a couple channels. I like to rest after a long day and watch TV to rest, but not that one.”

“Great stay overall. Place was very clean and organized. Kitchenette was a bonus. I’ll definitely look at Solbakken for future ski trips”
