“We enjoyed our stay in this quiet area of Cancún. You could walk to a supermarket and a couple of restaurants or jump on the R2 bus to downtown. The beach is literally a minute walk away, you can see the ocean from the patio but it's not ocean front (there are a few condos in front of this condo). It had everything we needed, a kitchen area, outdoor seating area lot's of hot water and AC. We used this condo as a base really, we were out mostly sight seeing or relaxing on the beach. We……

“Amazing property! Well located walking distance to restaurants and grocery store about 12 minutes or you can use the bikes. Very clean and well appointed apartment. I also enjoyed the pool every afternoon and used the BBQ. Will definitely recommend Abbey del Sol and would love to stay again. “Not sure how Expedia can advertise a property like this one! It’s outdated and dirty; there is not value for money. There is no registration of guests, no cleaning of rooms and I had to chase the only employee for clean towels. I expect Expedia will reimburse me for the nights I had to stay at a different hotel. Very disappointed! ”

"This is the worst 5-star all-inclusive experience our family had during christmas. We did not have hot shower for three nights and the room has been freezing cold. We informed the hotel the first night and they kept sending maintenance people without fixing it. And whats worse, they did not really care about our problems. Everytime I called them, I need to explain the situation again. And what I got is 'we will send someone to fix' ' the hotel is fully booked so not possible to change the room' or 'this is the general problem'. The daily activities and restaurants are good but I think the room itself is the basic of which the problem and technicians visits, really bother our holiday mood."
