“I cannot fault the Fingal hotel in any way. Booked this as part of our mini moon after getting married in Scotland and it really lived up to expectations. From the moment we walked in, the staff were friendly and engaging, giving us tips on sights and restaurants in the area. The room itself (luxury cabin) was perfect for us, tastefully decorated and with a door going onto the deck upfront. We both slept really well and the mattress quality was excellent. “Loved staying at Abbey Strand! Very historic building but with all modern conveniences. Quiet part of Royal Mile away from noise & traffic but easy walk to anywhere. No air conditioning but temps are generally cooler. Definitely recommend a stay when in Edinburgh.”
