“Remarkable historic building with large rooms and spacious cool lounges, balconies and interior in Moroccan riad style. Staff were delightful (thank you Lilian for arranging so much our trip!), food delicious (thank you chef Bukari!) including breakfasts and dinners overlooking the beach and ocean. Amazing location with nice pool and in the right area for enjoying the ocean while exploring Mombasa. “I primarily h add issues with the no elevator because I had yo take my luggage up three flight of stairs. I wish there was a phone yo communicate with the receptionists so I had yo go down every time I needed something. Other than that, it was clean and well kept with great breakfast options. ”

“Fantastic location. Although the main road outside is still under construction. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We did have a problem with the water supply being no hot water, but they fitted a new solar system so it was working at the end of our visit. Watching the monkeys while eating breakfast was amazing. Food delicious and varied..”

“Altogether everything was okay. Though the statys of the washing area was not in good condition. The sink and washing washing machine had mould all over and this makes one doubt the cleanliness of the towels and and beddings washed in it. Considering the size of the property, 15 units of electricity was not enough for 3 nights yet there was 9 of us in the property. Wifi was selective on some phones. Water dispenser was not replenished. You need to consider the size of the family before rationing……

“This was a disaster and we had to call hotels.com to get out of there. We did not sleep 1 night as this hotel. AC was not working properly, we did initially not get towels and duvet was missing from the bed. Generally very shabby and this hotel should not have 3.5 stars.. more like 1 star. ”
