“The unit was as depicted in photos. Clean and well equipped. It is very centrally located within Hilo and has easy access to all surrounding areas. The manager was extremely easy to communicate with and very responsive. I had a small problem while there and it was addressed and fixed within 24 hours. Very good experience. ”

I do have one suggestion: considering adding Rubens Mexican to your recommened dining options, as it is a Hilo institution since1979. We actually made a special trip to Hilo to bring back a large order, and I highly recommend it to future guest. “I was in Hilo for a month for work and stayed at Maggie's place. It was perfect for me in all ways - fantastic location, nice complex, very clean, lovely lanai, close to a beautiful park for walks/jogs. Various places to eat or get groceries that are within a 10 min walk or a couple of mins drive. Maggie was an exceptional host, very quick to respond and very kind to me on my arrival after a 25h trip. “We loved our stay here and can only recommend. Very nice and clean, the couch is a comfortable fold out couch, and everything you may need is provided. “This property is special because of the amazing abundance of plants and flowers on the property, including a river and waterfall!! The night was a symphony of sounds, birds and frogs at night. We also enjoyed the communual netted gazebo on the patio with fairy lights. There is internet, but no cell service meant we didn't spend time on the phone, and why would we in this paradise :) ”
