“There was so many great things to say, I’ll just touch on the highlights. 1. Secluded and quiet. The property is well off the beaten path. This allows for beautiful clear night skies and amazing sounds from birds and critters night and day. 2. Off grid and minimalist. Everything you need is there and you get a chance to interact with nature and fellow travelers. For a reasonably priced place to stay in the area, this property checks all the boxes. ”

“I can’t even begin to tell you how spiritual, restful and wonderful it was staying at the Enchanted Rainforest Hideaway! Connie and Andrew were the best hosts ever! The Hideaway is absolutely beautiful, well stocked and private!! Connie met me upon arrival and reviewed everything with me. It is the most restful place I have ever stayed in on a trip. The coqui frogs are very soothing to listen to as you fall into your slumber every night. There is a little black cat, that I think lives next……

“This home was surrounded by beautiful rain forest. The home is located close to Hawaii Volcano National Park and a short drive from Hilo. The home had everything we needed and the owner was quick to reply. We’d love to stay here again and recommend it for anyone wishing to stay close to the park. ”

“It’s in an unpaved road it looks really runs down like they made huts/rooms on a piece of land the pools looks unsanitary when I first looked at the picture for an entire unit it looked like I was getting everything in one house all connected but it’s not this place is like a community use and very private at all”

“We enjoyed Kamaka cabin…the spacious second floor and the loft. The games were very much appreciated… especially since it rained day and night . My only concern the outside light near the stairs going up to the second floor , does not light up. Making it hard to see at night in the dark…we had to use our phones for light . ”
