“One of the good ones in every sense of the word! Somewhat outside of Abingdon itself but really easy to get to from the Main Street. Quiet, very clean, very helpful and nice staff, some absolutely beautiful views all around the place. A very enjoyable Mexican restaurant very close by, delicious food with great prices. I would love to stay here again any time, seriously.”

“This is an amazing old building. They managed to modernize without getting rid of the charm, including original floors. The room was large, but cozy. Instead of your typical hotel room, the decor and finishes really make it feel homey. The staff was great. We let them know we would be checking in quite late, and even though they didn't have an overnight desk person scheduled, the guy at the desk stayed until we got there at 2 a.m. The attached Mexican restaurant was delicious. We were starting……

“I definitely recommend this property and would stay here again. The house is stocked and furnished perfectly. Simple, elegant and useful. Nothing seemed worn out or flimsy. We loved how close it was to the creeper trail and restaurants etc. The carport was great as we had brought our trailer with bikes. We had a question during our stay and the host responded right away. Luckily I had read the reviews and knew the address was incorrect, but I can confirm that the address that is associated with……

“The cabin is beautiful, conveniently located to every thing we needed and places we wanted to visit. Sleeping arrangements are perfect and comfy. Fully stocked especially lots and lots of towels and wash cloths. The view and property were amazing and private and quiet. And this cabin is CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!!! We have stayed at very clean places but this place is spotless!! We had a great time!!”

Our host was the definition of hospitality, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We loved hiking The Channels and attending the MLB Speedway Classic, even though the game got rained out the first time.
