“The rooms are clean, luxurious and the penthouse plunge pool was a welcome retreat. We had a room on the first floor initially but requested to be moved since the path to the penthouse pool required walking through the hotel bar. Irena at the evening reception was wonderful in facilitating the move to the 5th floor. The 1st floor room was quite dark while the 5th floor suite was much brighter with higher ceilings. I recommend booking a suite to get the higher floors on the better wing of the……

“Stern was absolutely charming. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were super clean and well appointed. The downstairs bar was wonderful. You could get a drink and sit out on the veranda and watch the grand canal. Venice was super crowded the weekend we were here, but the hotel was quiet. Would definitely stay here again. “A bit far from St Marco. Check-in process was great and the gentleman was very professional. All perfect except for checking out. I booked a pickup at the hotel and the lady insisted that I walked 10 min away over to the taxi port with heavy luggage to meet the driver there. How could I tell which driver and car? I ended up meeting the driver at the hotel but why did I have to fight for that? ”

“Hotel is at a very good location, making all places of interest and shopping areas easily reachable The food provided at the breakfast is good with lots of varieties. However, the staff members in general are not entirely friendly, particularly those serving at concierge. Having said that, a lady staff receiving guests at the breakfast area is very helpful and always greets us with smile”
