“We enjoyed our seven-night stay in winter 2025. The hosts were friendly and the place had all we needed; we especially liked spending time in the kitchen, with its big window overlooking the Chena River. ”

“At 2 hrs from the airport in Anchorage, this was a perfect spot to call home base for a first time in Alaska. I went for a mix of solitude and adventure and it did not disappoint. Cabin was comfortable and exactly as advertised. The tips in the binder were also helpful. I hiked Talkeetna lakes multiple times and took a Denali plane tour with Talkeetna Air Taxi. Just an excellent experience all around. ”

“We loved this stay. It was perfect for us. Me and my husband are traveling with my dad and stepmom and there was plenty of space. I loved it's location. The owner provided great directions but we were able to find the place just fine using Waze. It has a great little trail leading to quite a beautiful scenery. Inside everything was immaculate and nicely stocked with a few amenities. Given the opportunity we would definitely stay here again. Thank you.”

“The 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It was a nice touch to offer snacks to guests. We didn’t partake (only because we stopped at the store beforehand), but we did enjoy the coffee variety offered. Loved that we had a garage to keep the rental car - especially enjoyable during winter months. Host was responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“Communication with host was good and check in/out was easy. Cabin was an excellent jumping off point for seeing the Northern Lights, being north of Fairbanks with less light pollution and near Cleary Summit, but still close enough to town to go out to dinner. The Turtle Club is literally within walking distance and Fox General Store is right down the street for last minute supplies. “Sweet little house tucked away in an older section of Fairbanks. Neighborhood is quiet and walking friendly. Easy access to College Road and the expressway. House was comfortable, and kitchen was well-stocked. Thoroughly enjoyed the property. ”

“House was clean and ready for our use. The only issue was the bath and shower in the Summit room. I’m surprised someone hasn’t broken they leg getting in and out of it.”

“Warm and cozy during the winter snowfall. ”

“We stayed at Deena's place for 3 nights hoping to catch northern light. First 2 nights were cloudy but finally the last night we got to see it. We can actually see it for the deck of the house. The place was as described, nice and clean.Good communication.”

“This was our second time staying at this property. The first time was in 2023. It’s very clean and had a bunch of necessities like coffee, coffee filters, tea, shampoo and conditioner, etc. It’s a quick 20m drive to the Denali park road. It’s close to a handful of good restaurants (49th state brewery, black diamond) and the scenery is amazing. You can see mountains. The spruce trees are beautiful. We saw a bunch of snowshoe hares and a moose even walked through the yard! We would definitely……

“This place was perfect for our stay and very well maintained and equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. It is a great place for families and the walking/skiing trails around the house were a real benefit. You can ski down to the university which has a lot of nice groomed trails. ”

“This cozy home outside of Fairbanks included exceptionally nice personal touches--A well stocked coffee and snack supply, comfy beds, well laid out floor plan along with historical pictures adorning the walls and bird feeders that attracted wildlife made it feel like a true home away from home. Owners made sure the driveway was plowed quickly after a snow and checked in to see if all was ok (which it was). ”
