“Had an excellent stay at the Old Town House. The location is perfect for anyone visiting Margate as you are a short 15min walk away from the train station and right in the old town centre next to great coffee shops, restaurants and more. The room was beautiful and clean, bed super comfortable and overall a lovely stay for the price. Really easy check in system too with keyless access. Thank you Anne & Mark”

“Very stylish! Comfy bed and quirky amenities. The coffee machine was temperamental and the lack of direct access to the main hotel was a shame as we had a spa treatment but couldn't really walk through the street with our robes on. The milk jugs at breakfast were dirty both days. Overall we had a great time but where the attention to detail in some areas was great, it lacked in others. ”

“Amazing stay as always, it’s my go to when I visit my family. Only one thing I wasn’t happy about was the kettle in the room had not been checked or cleaned and I wasn’t able to use it due to this black flaky stuff stuck to the bottom of it on the inside that wouldn’t wash away. Plus it kept turning on randomly through the night so had to unplug it. ”

“Had a lovely stay but the curtains are not ideal as they do not cover the windows properly. We were in a corner room so had two windows - we also had a neon sign outside so there was constant light in our room and it was misleading when we woke during the night Breakfast was lovely - great variety Staff very polity and helpful Would definitely return but would bring eye mask ”

“Check in was professional and friendly, bar staff showed me my room and explained everything well. Room and bathroom are tired, but adequate. The bed was really comfortable. Overall cosy room. Pub is nice with lots of friendly locals and tourists. I stayed on curry night which was greay value for money. Nice home made style curries. Only shame was no TNT sports to watch the football. In the morning breakfast was a good english breakfast. Only bug bear was the weak coffee. I had a flat white……
