“ We are accustomed to a more natural setting so this lush, open air setting with the songs of many birds and frogs in the background was absolutely perfect. There are neighbor cabins on the farm but because of distance and the lush vegetation it feels very private— with the exception of a visit by a very friendly black cat in the evening, we didn’t see any people. “When I made the reservation, it was listed as one full (?) bed and roll out sofa. I was surprised to to find an additional full size bed in the living room. which worked out great for us. It should make it more "rentable" in the future. 2 wishes: 1) better directions to get to the property, e.g. make a turn onto Haleki'i St then ... 2) Have some kind of visual identifier to make sure we were at the correct property, e.g. a sign "Casa Grateful" or photo of the outside the house and door. “Great unexpected & laid back experience. From the exciting night drive to the site and then waking up to your own secluded and peaceful sliver of south Kona. The fruit/pig farm combination gives just enough activity to your serene little home - not to mention the frisbee challenge!! Excellent getaway from the city and typical Hawaii beach environment. Our Hosts made the stay comfortable and homey. Highly recommended and would definitely Hana Hou!!”
