“THIS is a guilty pleasure. Love the location and isolation of this property. They have a couple dining options and great room service. Most importantly, they’re pet friendly and my “boys”, Louie and Logan are treated like rock stars. Great walking grounds, and the rooms are fabulous where you just want to stay in and relax. ”

“This is a charming bed and breakfast. Anmenities are high end, so is the service. We stayed in a room circa 1752. The bedding however was more recent and very luxurious. The grounds are impeccable, with flowers and trimmed hedges everywhere. There are fields and even a little nature trail in the woods on the property. Its ideally located in Virginia wine country and in proximity to the homes of three past presidents, all of which you can visit. If you feel like shopping or eating out,……

“Breakfast Buffet was good, hot and reasonably priced. Staff was very accommodating. The tall black night manager is an excellent person. He was very helpful and informative. Made us feel like valued customers. The pool was good, and I was glad to see it got closed at intervals for necessary maintenance to ensure we had clean, bacteria free water to swim in. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely be staying there again! ”
