“Great property with great location for those looking for a lower key vacation. We walked right onto beach. The pool and hot tub were in great shape. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for an escape for a few days. ”

“Overall we enjoyed our stay. We could tell the owner’s family has enjoyed the property, which provides a certain warmth. Owners must be short of stature. Low toilets and mirrors (at 5’9” I could not see my entire face w/o squatting a bit). No usable closet in MBR. Wild life in the canal-including a manatee! Plenty of towels for bath and beach. Everyone we met was friendly at Key Colony. Very quiet. Owner was quick to respond to inquiries. Hot tub was quite clean. We would return, except maybe……

“We had a great time at this property. The photos don’t do it justice, it’s a lot nicer than what I expected. It was so great to have our boat, a hot tub and pool as well. Lots of parking for everyone as well. ”

“The property is better than the pictures allow. The bedrooms are very spacious with comfortable mattresses and linens. Plenty of storage in both rooms. The kitchen has a massive countertop that allowed our family of four to spread out and eat our home cooked fresh catch. Only 2 stools to sit on though. The couch is very comfortable and my teenage son fell asleep on it many nights. The artifical grass out back was more comfortable on bare feet than stone or wood in the heat. Luckily for us no one……

“We stayed for 5 nights and the place was cute. There was 6 of us so one couple had to stay on the pull out which wasn’t to comfortable but made do. We rented a pontoon and went fishing down near the 7 mile bridge. Caught some snapper and brought them back to the hose and cooed them up! They were delicious! Would definitely rent again. We did have neighbors the first night and the last night. Very friendly. The one thing I would suggest is putting a handle on the back sliding door as it was hard……
