“Returned 40 years later from our 1st stay, when it was in its original ocean front location, to this 2025 stay. Classic, historic, dedicated beach access, lovely grounds, lush landscaping and gardens, and a great vibe. Rocking chairs and porch swings harken back to the good ‘ol days. Wonderful breakfasts by Chef Georgia, with eclectic culinary creations. Just love this ‘old woodie’ hotel in the original classic OBX architectural style.”

“Charming one bedroom on a quiet street, clean and cozy. Short walk to the fishing pier and only two miles from the Wright brothers memorial. Would stay again, thank you so much.”

The location was perfect for us to explore the different towns on OBX and the accommodations made us look forward to coming back at the end of each day! Technology, temperature of unit, water pressure were all great and easy to navigate—things I don’t want to worry about on a vacation! ”

“Exactly as advertised. Simple, no-frills, pet friendly beach house in a very nice neighborhood. When we arrived the water had been turned off (for the winter?). We messaged the host and she had the water co there in 30 mins! Great host, very responsive. Big TV. Stack W/D is great to have. Everything works. We spent 5 nights and would stay there again for sure.”
