“Location is amazing with the AD 122 bus stopping here or around the corner, depending on direction. Also around the corner is The Sill, with a Northumberland Park team of advisors who are excellent and can guide you in seeing Hadrian’s wall. The room was fine, though there is no rubber mat on their slippery shower floor. Having a brewery and pub right there is great and it’s a nice fun place. “Hotel rooms at the back of a large traditional local stone public house. Very good standard of room. Easy to park car park of a good size. Bus stops directly outside the hotel. 15mins walk to town centre. Check-in though was too slow, using staff that were occupied at the bar. Staff very friendly when eventually the lady arrived. Check-out also suffered by using staff from the pub area, although early in the morning the wait was not long.”
