“We were looking for a location between Portland and Acadia National Park, and settled on the Camden area. We are so glad we did. Glenmore by the Sea was perfect for us! Our little cottage was a perfect home-away-from-home. The setting and landscaping are beautifully maintained. Breakfasts were great and delivered quietly to our door. “ Pulled in late at night, very tired and was really pleasantly surprised by the easy accessibility, cleanliness of each cabin and the incredible views of the water. “We loved our 3-night stay in the cottage! It was a little tight for our family of 4 but it was perfectly clean and decorated adorably. It had everything we needed to make a cooked breakfast each morning and a patio out front overlooking the water. The hot tub unfortunately didn’t seem to be working as the water wasn’t warm/hot at all, however, our boys enjoyed swimming in the pool. We drove into Acadia both days and it was about 1.5 hours drive. We would definitely stay again if we go that way……
