“A lovely countryside stay. The pub is beautiful, a great mix of an old pub with modern design. Everything feels lovely and clean. Huge beds! I would say though, we stayed on a Sunday and the road out the front on the Monday morning was quite noisy (rush hour, bin men and gas refill right outside the window of our room). I doubt the rooms were full with it being a Sunday, so it would have been good if they put us out the back. If you can, request a room at the back of the building! ”

“Beautiful room overlooking the gardens, very friendly hosts and good location for Gatwick Airport.”

“The staff were very friendly and the room was beautiful but it was on the same level and overlooked the beer garden, so I think that this could be a problem in the summer. It also had an interconnecting door, which meant I could hear my noisy neighbours very clearly!”

“Beautiful boutique hotel with a lovely atmosphere and wonderful staff. The hotel was just as described and didn’t disappoint. Lovely and quiet room and very comfortable beds. The restaurant is beautiful and very popular with locals so book ahead . ”

“A lovely comfortable cottage just a 15-minute walk from the South of England Showground. ”

“Clean”

“The soundproofing is poor, and I can hear the snoring from the neighboring room at night. I requested two bottled waters, but they did not provide them. The drainage in the bathroom is poor - after about 10 minutes of showering, the water starts draining out, as the shower area has a shallow floor and does not have enough time to properly drain. However, the hotel is indeed very close to the airport.”

“I had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Bear Inn and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone considering staying here. The room was beautiful, in great condition, and had everything I could possibly need. The staff were very helpful and made me feel welcome. My one small issue was with the WiFi as it was running very slow and I couldn’t do anything more than text - possibly I just caught it on a bad day though! ”
