“A comfortable B&B just a mile or so outside of Aviemore serves a great base for exploring the Cairngorms. The made-to-order breakfasts and the dinners were both outstanding. All the staff were friendly and helpful.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at the Nethybridge Hotel: the bed was big and comfortable, we had a great view of the gardens, and everything we tried on the restaurant's menu was delicious. However, the facilities are quite dated, especially in the common areas. Carpet on the stairs and in the hallways is visibly worn and fraying. It's an old building, so hallways are narrow and you will not be able to comfortably pass another person unless one of you waits. There's one very small lift……

“Lovely bit of highland grandeur/history. Mostly just passing through for a local event so didn’t get the full experience. Wee bit expensive for room alone but no complaints about the standards/staff etc bar/dining facilities looked very pleasant ”
