“The hotel is furnished in a classical style with warm wood tone. It'maintained reasonably well and clean. We were given a room that seems to have a leak from the ceiling. Front desk was very quick to assign us to a different room. The bathroom works ok for me but lacks table surface for makeup. The Tap room serves very delicious food and service was excellent. Overall we will return when visiting Shenandoah again ”

“This is an older motel that when speaking with the lady at the desk said was just acquired by a new owner last fall. They have done a lot of work to the rooms and exterior of the building with all new everything in the rooms. It is an older place but it being brought up to modern standards and amenities. They are still in the process of getting their vintage sign restored and a few exterior upgrades but I would highly recommend. Has the potential to be one of the nicest motels in the Luray area.……

“We love Big Meadows and Skyline Driver! Big Meadows Lodge is upgrading but the going is slow. We had a good experience but construction was ongoing during our visit.”

Quiet and relaxing with many amenities provided for a great time. We all enjoyed the ducks and the rabbits, the S’mores and Miss Minnie (the cat.)”
