“Positives: Hotel was clean, loads of parking, staff friendly and helpful. Nice pub on the doorstep. Negatives: Breakfast wasn’t great but it was cheap enough, room was very hot, a bit pricey for what it was but demand was high due to a concert in the area. “We could not have asked for a more fantastic place to stay. From arrival and check in, support from staff whilst we were there, location, quirky cabin... Proximity to the hills/ station/ pubs/ canal... Absolutely beautiful. The children loved the waterfall and the cabin itself... A log burner and a sofa to sleep on was a great asset for them. Waking up amongst the trees and being able to feed the ducks 10 meters away. We ate in the village and also had a takeaway... Great choice and fabulous……

“Paul and Sophie were the consumate hosts. Attentive without being over bearing. The property is in first class order with everything you could need for a perfect quiet stay.
